What is the best time to visit Shogran?

Shogran is opened for visitors in summers and winters. From June to August, it is the peak season during which the weather remains temperate. Temperature ranges between a maximum of 20 °C (68 °F) and a minimum of 3 °C (37 °F).

Why is Shogran famous?

The area is covered with dense forests of pine, oak, and cedar trees, and its meadows are famous for their wildflowers, providing a perfect backdrop for nature photography. One of the main reasons why Shogran is famous is its proximity to the popular tourist destinations of Naran and Kaghan.

What is special about Neelum Valley?

Excellent scenic beauty, panoramic views, towering hills on both sides of the noisy Neelum river, lush green forests, enchanting streams and attractive surroundings make the valley a dream come true. Athmuqam – is situated at a height of 1371m, it is the sub-divisional headquarters of the area.
